Free Wi-Fi has arrived



Late last week we finished off installing our FREE Wi-Fi in the park. For the much of the year we will be offering free unlimited Wi-Fi for all park guests staying in cabins, or on powered or unpowered sites. Just call in at reception and get the password for the week! In our busy winter season, and on selected long weekends or special events, we may put in place daily download limits, just to keep the internet flowing for all guests.

We have repeaters around the park so you should be able to access it anywhere, but sometimes metal caravan walls or other wireless devices can interfere with your signal. In these cases try connecting again outside your van, or at one of our covered communal camp kitchens. With such beautiful Queensland weather who wants to be inside anyway!

We hope everyone enjoys being able to share photos of your holidays with friends and family online, or even catching up with them on Skype/FaceTime. I am sure they will be green with envy at the amazing place you get to spend your holidays!

As of midday 1 June 2020 Queensland has entered Stage 2 of the COVID-19 Recovery Roadmap and we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS for Queensland residents and full-time travellers!

We are fully compliant with the COVID-SAFE program and have additional safety and cleaning measures in place to make your stay safe, comfortable and enjoyable.

We understand that we still live in a time of relative uncertainty and, with that in mind, we have decided to introduce a “Book with Confidence Guarantee”.

What is the Book with Confidence Guarantee?

The Book with Confidence Guarantee is applicable if you are no longer able to travel due to COVID-19 related developments. For example: you become sick with COVID-19 or someone immediately connected to you does and you are forced into self-isolation, or the Alert Level changes meaning travel becomes impossible, or there is a Government mandate for you not to travel in your local area/region or the area you intend to travel to. In these and other similar cases there will be no charges levied to make changes to your booking dates. We will provide a 12-month credit or full refund (in exceptional circumstances, determined on a case by case basis).

Please be aware that where your request to amend a booking is not linked to COVID-19 developments, normal T&C’s will apply.


Border Restrictions

At this stage the Queensland border remains closed to interstate travellers but, according to the Queensland COVID-19 Recovery Roadmap, the planned reopening is 10 July 2020. We look forward to welcoming all our regular winter travellers after that date.
