This modern cabin is self-contained with its own two-way bathroom and kitchen. Its has a separate main bedroom and a sleeping nook with bunk beds off the living area.

We understand your furry friends are a part of the family and we welcome them to stay inside our dog-friendly cabin, excluding the months of July and August. This self-contained ensuite cabin is comfortable and includes an undercover outdoor area to sit and enjoy the great outdoors and sea breezes.

The Dog-Friendly Ensuite Cabin includes:

  • Queen-sized bed
  • Single bunk bed (2 single beds)
  • Elevated pet bed on balcony
  • Pet mat/bed for inside use
  • Own fenced dog area for off lead relaxing

At Fisherman’s Beach, we love that you can bring your dog along with you on holidays! To make sure we can continue to allow this, please follow these guidelines:

  • Your dog is welcome inside the cabin (maximum of one-dog per cabin). We do provide bedding or you can bring your own, please don’t allow your dog on park furniture or bedding. Please ensure that your dog is up to date with their flea and tick treatment. Any extra cleaning or sanitisation of the cabin required may be subject to an additional cleaning fee.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times when in the park.
  • Dogs are prohibited from all communal areas such as reception, amenities, bbq areas and camp kitchen.
  • All mess must be immediately removed and disposed of.
  • Please do not let your dog mark it’s territory in the park.
  • No dog is to be left unattended. Please do not go out and leave your dog behind.
  • No barking or aggressive dogs, hunting dogs or banned breeds.
  • The beach in front of us (Fisherman’s Beach) is directly accessible from the park.  The dog friendly, off leash area commences 150 metres north of Bell Park all the way to Tanby Point.
  • All dog owners, whether you have expressly agreed or not, assume all liability regarding your dog being on our premises and indemnify us against all and any damages, all or any claims or other suits that may arise as a result of your dog being in our park.

STAGE 2 - COVID-SAFE AND OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

As of midday 1 June 2020 Queensland has entered Stage 2 of the COVID-19 Recovery Roadmap and we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS for Queensland residents and full-time travellers!

We are fully compliant with the COVID-SAFE program and have additional safety and cleaning measures in place to make your stay safe, comfortable and enjoyable.

We understand that we still live in a time of relative uncertainty and, with that in mind, we have decided to introduce a “Book with Confidence Guarantee”.

What is the Book with Confidence Guarantee?

The Book with Confidence Guarantee is applicable if you are no longer able to travel due to COVID-19 related developments. For example: you become sick with COVID-19 or someone immediately connected to you does and you are forced into self-isolation, or the Alert Level changes meaning travel becomes impossible, or there is a Government mandate for you not to travel in your local area/region or the area you intend to travel to. In these and other similar cases there will be no charges levied to make changes to your booking dates. We will provide a 12-month credit or full refund (in exceptional circumstances, determined on a case by case basis).

Please be aware that where your request to amend a booking is not linked to COVID-19 developments, normal T&C’s will apply.

At this stage the Queensland border remains closed to interstate travellers but, according to the Queensland COVID-19 Recovery Roadmap, the planned reopening is 10 July 2020. We look forward to welcoming all our regular winter travellers after that date.
