Bell Park also known as the Emu Park Botanic Gardens Reserve is located at Hill Street and adjacent to Fisherman’s Beach Holiday Park.  Built on 11 hectares from 1910 to 1940, it was added to the Queensland heritage register on 29th April 2003.  A popular recreational destination for local residents and tourists alike it has large grassed areas, BBQ’s, toilet facilities, a playground, table & chairs and even a skate park and tennis court.

The Emu Park Lions Club markets are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month starting at 8.00 am and closing at noon with all profits going to local charities and maintenance and care of Bell Park.  Over 130 stalls including fresh produce, second hand books, crafts, local jams and honey, trash & treasure bargains, food stalls & entertainment.

They also host the annual Oktoberfest event in late October early November.
